  Tim Stanley - President of Tekexecs

Tim Stanley has over 20 years of business, innovation and technology leadership. In addition to his role as the President of Tekexecs, an executive advisory and consultancy; he is also the Founder and CXO of Innovatects, a business innovation and execution firm. Our clients range from brand name major companies to innovative new startups, and various advisory boards, angel and venture firms.

Previously, Tim served as CIO and Senior Vice President of Innovation, Gaming and Technology for Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., where over the last 8+ years he played signicant senior managment roles that enabled and led Harrah's to become the largest provider of branded casino entertainment in the world. Prior to Harrah’s, Mr. Stanley was a Partner leading the Travel and Entertainment practice for USWeb / marchFIRST, the CIO & VP of Information Technology for National Airlines, and led various marketing, product and technology teams at Intel, jetBlue, Optima/KPMG, and Kimberly-Clark in the US and abroad. Tim was also a commisioned US Air Force Officer and Program Manager for the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) programs.

He currently serves as a board member and advisor to VIRSIX, a privately held interactive entertainment startup, and has been nominated as a Director and board member of Multimedia Games, a publicly traded gaming technology and content company. Tim is a member of Tech Coast Angels, and also active in several other angel and venture capital networks. He lectures on business, innovation and technology as a professor at the Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine, and is a founding sponsor and advisory board member for the School of Informatics at UNLV.

Tim received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Washington, and a joint MBA / MOT degree in International Business & Technology Management from Arizona State University and Thunderbird - the Global School of Management.
